Established in 2002 by Timothy L Fekete & Thomas D Burr, our company has grown to a full service insurance agency.
Currently, Fekete Knaggs & Burr Agency serves the insurance needs of about 700 households and the insurance needs of 200 business concerns in Michigan.
As an independent agency, Fekete Knaggs & Burr Agency is dedicated to serving your specific needs. We represent several leading insurance companies rather than any single provider. Therefore, we have the ability to continually monitor the marketplace and offer you the best possible rates. Our office uses state of the art computer comparative rating software and customer service systems, so you know your price will always be the most competitive, and your service second to none. Timothy L Fekete, AAI, Agency Principal
Tim Fekete graduated from Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan in May of 1995. He received his life and health license in the summer of 1995 and his property and casualty license in 1996. He attained the designation AAI (Accredited Advisor in Insurance) in 2006. He specializes in personal and business insurance. Tim is married with 2 children and enjoys time with his family. He is a member of First Baptist Church in Cadillac. He loves to play golf and hunt on his free time.
Timothy J Knaggs, Agency Principal
Tim Knaggs holds a masters degree in Business Education and Administration. He has been licensed in property and casualty since 1996 and specializing in commercial lines.
He is very active in the community and has served a president of the Rotary Club and president of the Wexford County United Way.
Nanette Sutton, Office Manager
Nanette began her insurance career in 1993 and received her license in 2003. She joined FKB in July of 2002. She is currently working as the office manager as well as a customer service representative. She loves her family and especially loves to fish with her husband on her spare time.
Jan Sheedy, CISR, Customer Service Representative Personal Lines
Jan has been in the insurance industry since 1988. She has been licensed since 1992. In 1998 she attained the designation CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative). This represents a comprehensive understanding of risks and exposures by the professional, in order to serve their clients, agencies, and companies at the highest level. Jan joined the FKB Agency in February 2005 and has since been a personal lines customer service representative.
Laurie Patterson, CISR, Customer Service Representative Commercial Lines
Laurie has been in the business since 1986 and received her license in 1989. She attained the designation of CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) in 2003. This represents a comprehensive understanding of risks and exposures by the professional, in order to serve their clients, agencies, and companies at the highest level. Since joining FKB in April of 2005 she has specialized in commercial lines. Laurie has lived in Cadillac most of her life and is married with 2 children.
Julie Mullins, CISR, Customer Service Representative Personal Lines
Julie is no stranger to insurance. She has been in the industry since 1987 and became licensed in 1991. In April of 2005 Julie completed her CISR designation (“Certified Insurance Service Representative”). This represents a comprehensive understanding of risks and exposures by the professional, in order to serve their clients, agencies, and companies at the highest level. Julie recently joined the Fekete Knaggs and Burr team in November 2006. She specializes in personal lines insurance. Julie can determine what your insurance needs are and can tailor our products to meet those needs. Julie has lived in the Cadillac area for over 26 years.
